For the fourth consecutive year, Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants is celebrating best restaurants and chefs on the Canadian gastronomic scene. This year though, the awards are going to be a bit different, with the launch of a new category: Canada’s 50 Best Bars, honouring country's top bars and bartenders.

"We're really excited about this year's 'Best Of' winners and hope that these awards will serve as an inspiration to young talent," said Canada's 100 Best Restaurants Editor-in-Chief Jacob Richler.

This year’s ‘Best Of’ awards also pay a special honour to accomplished leaders who set the trends in Canada’s restaurant scene. Among the awarded talents are chef Lynn Crawford, who will receive Lifetime Achievement Award; Ottawa’s chef Marc Lepine, who will be awarded Most Innovative Chef award; P.E.I.'s chef Michael Smith , who will be recognized for the work at his restaurant with the Best Farm to Table Restaurant award; and designer Maya Gohill, who will receive award for the Best New Restaurant Design.

Canada's 100 Best Restaurants list will be revealed April 10, and the magazine will be available for purchase across Canada starting Monday, April 16, 2018.
