Next week, Winnipeg’s beloved Exchange District will play host to a new week-long festival that aims to celebrate the neighbourhood's tightly-knit creative community along with the wide array of eclectic activities the area has to offer.
From September 7 to 11, the Exchange District and its member business and area partners will offer Winnipegers a chance to indulge in a series of food, beverage, art, and music events in the heart of Winnipeg’s premier cultural hub.
Some of the activities on offer include Parlour Coffee’s 10-year anniversary party, live performances by Jazz Winnipeg, Flipside Opera and Pride Week at Little Brown Jug, a pizza and patio party at The Mitchell Block and Forth Bar, Send + Receive Festival concerts, a performance by neWSOunds at Nonsuch Brewery to celebrate the launch of their collaboration with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and much more.
If that wasn’t enough, over a dozen restaurants in the Exchange District will also be serving up a selection of creative burgers for Le Burger Week, new Exchange District member TappCar will be offering free rides into the neighbourhood on September 9, and Bijou Patio’s food and drink menus will feature a number of special offers throughout the five-day festival.
Programming schedules for each day of Love the Exchange can be found online.
