The doors to the Restaurant at Calgary’s historic Lougheed House are officially set to reopen this weekend and earlier this week, the local landmark unveiled a pair of new menus for Calgarians in search of a little luxury and indulgence to look forward to.
Lougheed House has teamed up with award-winning Calgary-based catering company A Certain Flair Catering to offer guests an array of elegant offerings for both weekend brunch and afternoon high tea service.
Some of the brunch offerings that will be available include staples such as smoked salmon eggs Benedict, prosciutto latke pancakes, banana French toast, and Belgian-style waffles, while for high tea, guests will be treated to a selection of sweet and savoury finger foods ranging from classic sandwiches and crostini bites to seasonal macaron assortments, scones, fruits, and more, along with tea and botanicals provided by Shisso Tea Company.
The Restaurant at Lougheed House’s weekend brunch takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by high tea service from 2 to 4 p.m.
