After roughly two years without any restriction-free events and a trio of successful pop-ops over the past few months to test the waters, Calgary’s iconic Fairmont Palliser announced this week that live music programming will finally return to Hawthorn Dining Room and Bar this month.
Each weekend for the remainder of March, Hawthorn will play host to a series of live jazz performances from artists such as Michelle Joly Trio, Chance Devlin, and SallieMae. Additionally, every Friday night for the foreseeable future will also feature a live DJ to kick off the weekend.
“We are extremely excited to be able to re-energize the hotel with live music and events,” said Fairmont Palliser’s newest director of food and beverage, Jean-Michel Buffard. “Hawthorn Dining Room and Bar provides the perfect opportunity for people to let loose after the difficulties of the last two years. We invite everyone to come, be entertained and allow us to take care of you.”
