Vancouver’s Potluck Hawker Eatery just unveiled this year’s Father’s Day take-out offering featuring a fantastic assortment of the restaurant's greatest hits along with a few modern riffs on classic Southeast Asian cuisine.
“As a father of two young children, there is nothing quite like spending the day with family, especially over good food,” says chef and co-owner Justin Cheung. “I thought about what I may like to enjoy or my own dad, and it’s definitely usually comfort food! This Mega Bucket represents some of our greatest hits, as well as some new takes on classic Southeast Asian dishes. We can’t wait for our guests to celebrate all father figures on June 19th.”
In addition to chef Cheung’s popular salted egg yolk fried chicken, the aptly titled Father’s Day Mega Bucket includes a rack of sambal BBQ pork ribs, fish sauce carmelized chicken wings, Filipino spaghetti, Truffled Malaysia Shaker Fries, mango and tomato salad, a two-litre jug of Thai milk tea, and if you can believe it, even more.
Potluck’s Father’s Day Mega Bucket begins at $165 and is meant to feed approximately four people. The full menu can be found online. Pre-orders can be made via Tock.
