From Winnipeg's Hoagie Boyz Vennie's Sub Shop in Vancouver, there is no shortage of purveyors of quality sandwiches these days across the country. The latest sandwich shop in Canada comes courtesy of a new stall at Time Out Market Montreal by popular sandwicheria Bossa.
The business first came on the scene in 2018 with its first location in the borough of Verdun. It quickly became one of the go-to sandwich shops in the city, thanks to the Philly-style hoagies created by chef and owner Daniel Lo Manto that pay homage to his Italian roots and family recipes.
"I grew up making sauces from scratch with my nonno and mother, starting with a homemade secret tomato sauce which you can now find in our sandwiches. Bossa has truly been a dream that has been cooking for years and that has become a reality through the support of my family and dedicated team...We are beyond excited for this next chapter and to bring Bossa to Time Out Market Montréal,” said Lo Manto in today's opening announcement.
The sandwich maker has become famous for items like the Porchetta Sandwich (provolone, porchetta, caramelized onions, hot peppers, eggplant, slaw). Of course, folks will be able to order Bossa's most popular sandwiches at the market, but there are exclusive Time Out creations too such as the new Classico Sandwich, made with D.O.P. mortadella with pistachio, homemade burrata, lemon, arugula and top shelf olive oil.
Time Out Market Montreal is located at 705 Saint-Catherine St W. For more information on Bossa's new location and menu, follow the business on Instagram: @bossamtl.
