Chef couple Josh and Erica Karbelnik are never a duo to rest on their laurels. Aside from keeping busy with their catering company Bring on the Karbs and Erica's line of condiments, the chefs have become well known for taking part in collaborative dinners or pop-ups.
For Valentine's Day, the Top Chef Canada Season 9 winner and finalist have teamed up with popular Toronto eatery Hendriks Restaurant & Bar, creating a special three-course prix-fixe menu for $125 per person. The Karbelniks' menu includes dish options like albacore tuna crudo with lemon hibiscus vinaigrette and Moroccan-spiced salmon with pistachio and fennel purée.
“To create this Valentine’s Day menu, I took Hendriks' current style and brought a little taste of Morocco,” explains Erica Karbelnik in the event's announcement.
Josh Karbelnik adds, “We think the people of Toronto are really going to enjoy this menu and will fall in love with the different flavours we put together. This menu is designed to create a magical experience for your taste buds, and we are excited to be doing this at Hendriks!"
