After a four year hiatus, Winnipeg's iconic culinary extravaganza RAW:almond will officially make an epic return this winter. Arguably one of the most unique food events in North America—if not the entire world—the pop-up will once again see an architectural feat come to life on the frozen river intersection a stone's throw from The Forks Market.

The temporary structure will officially open on January 26, 2023 and, as per usual, include two main long communal tables and a makeshift kitchen and bar. It's here that notable chefs such as Joël Watanabe (Kissa Tanto, Vancouver), Christine Sandford (Biera, Edmonton), Billy Nguyen (Top Chef Canada Season 9 runner-up), Alex Chen (Boulevard, Vancouver), Christie Peters (Primal, Saskatoon), Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson (Published, Vancouver), and Scott MacKenzie (River Cafe, Calgary) will prepare tasting menus for lucky attendees for two nights each respectively until February 18.
