Calgary’s Cōchu chocolatier to open new flagship location on June 25

The award-winning chocolatier has a new retail and production space in East Village

Internationally acclaimed Cōchu chocolatier is getting ready to celebrate the grand opening of its new flagship store next week in Calgary’s East Village. Located in the historical Hillier Block, the three-story retail and production facility will allow founder Anne Sellmer and her talented team of chocolatiers to offer their award-winning artisanal chocolates to a larger audience than ever before.

The new space, which features a vibrant blend of contemporary and traditional designs, will also offer a small seating area where guests will be able to enjoy year-round drinking chocolate on tap, as well as on-site classes, chocolate subscriptions, corporate and wedding packages, and more.

“We have so much fun pairing different chocolates with delicious ingredients, both local and from around the world,” says Sellmer. “In each of our recipes, we aim for at least three peaks of flavour, so the taste evolves and changes as it dissolves in your mouth.”

Cōchu chocolatier's new flagship location officially opens on June 25. Cōchu also plans to launch a new online store in the weeks following its grand opening in East Village.
