After announcing that a new gelato and granita shop was en route to the Fairmont Pacific Rim this past January, Kitchen Table Restaurants announced today that Motoretta Gelato—which was previously announced as Motorino Gelato—will open its doors early this summer with a new chef at the helm.
Joining the team at Motoretta Gelato is chef Salvatore Baccarossa who, in addition to founding Parq Vancouver’s acclaimed Passione Gelato, previously worked at Bella Gelateria and was a co-winner of the Grand Title of North America Champions while at Carpigiani Gelato University.
Gelato and granita fans can otherwise look forward to the same promise of bold and beautiful flavour profiles from quality seasonal ingredients and simple techniques that Kitchen Table Restaurants made back in its January announcement.
More information will likely be revealed by Motoretta Gelato via Instagram in the coming weeks.
