Save Hospitality launches national initiative LocalLicious

A new nationwide dine out campaign kicks off this week

Toronto’s Parcheggio is one of more than 100 Canadian restaurants partaking in LocalLicious

A new dining initiative from Save Hospitality is slated to hit restaurant menus across the country this week, offering diners an opportunity to explore an array of local food and beverage businesses while supporting a great cause.

Taking place from February 25 to March 7, LocalLicious will highlight a range of creative three-course menus from more than 100 restaurants in Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.

In addition to providing an extra avenue of support for local restaurants when they need it most, LocalLicious will also see $1 from each sale donated to charitable organizations such as Margaret’s Full Plates Initiative (Toronto), the Saskatoon Food Bank (Saskatchewan), and Mealshare (Alberta).

While the entirety of the menus on offer have yet to be revealed, so far, prix fixe menus range from a $15 sandwich combo at Toronto’s Beauty Eats to multi-course menus from the likes of notable restaurants like Calgary’s Deane House or Bridgette Bar, and Toronto’s Canoe ($75).

Although the majority of the current participating restaurants are situated in Toronto and Calgary, Save Hospitality is still accepting applications and will likely add more locations in the near future.

More information including a full list of participating restaurants can be found online.
