Afternoon tea service at the St. Regis Toronto was already one of the city’s most popular daytime destinations, but last week, the hotel gave guests a new reason to treat themselves in Astor Lounge with the launch of a new holiday-themed menu.
In addition to a luxurious assortment of tea and bubbles, the new Holiday Afternoon Tea menu features a balanced blend of sweet and savoury items with a festive twist. Some of savoury highlights include the 65 °C Lobster (citrus aioli, caviar, Devonshire crème), the Baked Brie (cranberry compote, ginger tuile, urban honeycomb), and the Duck Confit Rillette (kalamsansi gel, caramerelized apples, 64 per cent chocolate).
On the sweet side of things, options include the Eggnog Panna Cotta with speculoos crumble, the Holiday Spiced Scones with Devonshire cream, citrus marmalade, and strawberry preserves, and the Chestnut Profiterole with rum caramel and whipped ganache.
St. Regis Toronto’s new holiday afternoon tea service is available from now until January 8 in Astor Lounge on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
