Check it Out Calgary: A new Blue Jay Sessions event happening April 21

If you're in Calgary and looking for something fun to do next weekend, why not take in some live music alongside fun eats and drinks?

Blue Jay Sessions recently announced it would be kicking off a new monthly format at The Prairie Emporium beginning Friday, April 21. The one-night event will see seven talented musicians from across Alberta including Alex Hughes, Mallory Chipman of The Goddamsels, HAIDEE, and Chevy Beaulieu performing in two sessions between 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

In addition to the music, attendees can order from a full food and drink menu that includes plenty of tasty comfort food fare like barbecue chicken sandwiches and poutine as well as craft beer, spirits, wine and more.

Tickets range from $15-$25 and can be purchased via Showpass. More information about the night's performers as well as food and drink offerings can also be found on the Showpass listing.

The Prairie Emporium event space is located beside Ill Fated Kustoms at 300-334 53 Ave S.E.
