Calgary-based restaurant, Cilantro, reopens today after renovations to celebrate 30 years in the industry.
Renovations have focused mainly on updating the main floor with new banquette seating, wood tables, vintage-chic light fixtures and an updated colour scheme to make it more stylish and casual, while still retaining Cilantro's rustic character and charm.
"Paired with an update to our menu by chef Lancelot Monteiro, it's the perfect time to celebrate 30 years of Cilantro and 30 more," says Ryan McLeish, general manager.
Chef Lancelot Monteiro's menu will include dishes like elk gnocchi with parmesan and salt cured egg yolk, CRMR braised bison short rib, and pizza with toppings that range from elk salami to pear and gorgonzola.
