This week, the organizers of Calgary’s Inglewood Night Market announced the launch of a new street-style market that will debut on the intersection of 4th Street and Elbow Drive on August 14 and September 4.
Much like the Inglewood Night Market–which will return in its original format on August 13 in its respective neighbourhood–the 4th Street Night Market will feature a rotating selection of local artists, makers, vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and musical performances.
“Public events are returning, and it is wonderful to be back in the community amongst friends and neighbours,” says Shannon McNally, one of the 4th Street Night Market organizers. “Local small businesses and live performers deserve a grand welcome back party, and there is no better way than to host a new event within the 4th Street-Mission area.”
The 4th Street Market is currently accepting applications for both vendors and volunteers, but so far, the market has revealed that guests can expect to see local food vendors like Dumpling Hero Food Truck and Knox Your Sock Off Hot Sauce, along with local lifestyle brands like Ram Canyon Industries, Adesso Man, and more.
The inaugural 4th Street Markets will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. on August 14 and September 4 and are free to attend.
