A new restaurant concept is getting set to open its doors inside the Ritz-Carlton Toronto next month, offering guests a modern and imaginative interpretation of a traditional British-style gastrobar.
Officially launching on September 1, EPOCH Bar and Kitchen Terrace will feature a 61-seat dining room complete with a stunning centrepiece bar and cozy private dining options. The space will also boast a striking 88-seat patio space with lush foliage and scenery of Simcoe Park.
The culinary program is being headed by acclaimed chef and cookbook author Jeff Crump, whose menu will employ both his background in the UK gastrobar scene as well as his earth-to-table philosophy of emphasizing seasonality and thoughtfully-sourced ingredients. Guests can expect creative cocktail program from award-winning bartender and hospitality professional Jason William Griffin that pays homage to the renaissance of mixology culture.
“The cuisine at EPOCH Bar and Kitchen Terrace reimagines traditional British gastrobar dishes with modern flavours.” says chef Crump. “The ingredients are grown with care and cooked with conviction ensuring the guest experience is second to none.”
EPOCH Bar and Kitchen Terrace opens on the lobby level of the Ritz-Carlton Toronto on September 1. Reservations will become available on August 16.
