Announced in fall 2022, JOEY Restaurants' newest American location in Newport Beach at the Fashion Island Mall will officially open its doors tomorrow at 4 p.m.

The Vancouver-based restaurant chain has already found much success in cities like LA, Seattle and Houston and is hoping the Newport Beach JOEY Restaurant will follow suit.

The luxe nearly-10,000-square-foot space boasts plenty of striking design accents including a tiled gallery wall featuring pieces by local visual artists as well as a unique Bocci light installation. Outside, the restaurant offers a sizeable patio bar with an equally sizeable outdoor fire pit. A retractable roof will allow for year-round use of the outdoor area.

JOEY Restaurants is known for tweaking their menu items based on region, so diners can expect some food items to differ slightly compared to other locations.

Of course, the chain's famous Supersonic Gin + Tonic (a boozy slush-highball hybrid which is very crushable) is on offer along with wines, some California craft beer and cider. Its iconic daily 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and late night (Sundays to Thursdays) happy hours will also be in full effect.

JOEY Newport Beach is located at 453 Newport Center Dr. Following its grand opening at 4 p.m. on January 19, 2023, it will be open from 11 a.m to late, seven days a week. Reservtions can be made online.
