After closing its doors in the summer to undergo a much-needed renovation, Saskatoon’s Citizen Bakery reopened and within a matter of weeks, the pipes in its building burst causing a flood.
This past weekend, to the delight of many—especially with the holiday season right around the corner—the beloved downtown bakery officially reopened.
“Citizen Cafe is officially open for business after a long haul of repairs, renovation and installation. We have more than enough stories to share with you from the past month,” Citizen shared via Instagram. “When you come in for your treats we can talk about it all at the espresso machine.“
In addition to reopening its brick and mortar bakery, Citizen has also relaunched both its online store and catering website, and expects its wildly popular holiday boxes to become available in the very near future.
Citizen Cafe and Bakery is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
