It's hard to believe that it's already mid-July and that we're about to hit peak summer. Our show's cohosts Dan Clapson and Mairlyn Smith will be joined by Calgary-based panelist Carmen Cheng to chat summer food and drink delights, as well as recent Canadian food news, before our lively guests pop by.
Vancouver chef Pat Do of the popular vegetarian Vietnamese eatery, Do Chay, will talk about his love of Southeast Asian cuisine and whip up a summery dish of dynamic Vietnamese flavours. Next, Edmonton butcher Corey Meyer of Acme Meat Market will showcase some butchery techniques and give us a few tips on how to look for a good cut of meat while grocery shopping.
To close out the show, Alberta country singer Liz will perform her brand new single "Summertime" (how fitting) and talk a little bit about what's on the horizon for her music career.
