As of this week, popular digital cooking class platform, The Chef & The Dish, offers classes from a two-Michelin-starred Singaporean chef, Paul Then. The chef--whose resume includes many notable positions, including running the kitchen at the two-starred Cuisine Cuisine at the Mira Hong Kong--will be teaching a suite of exclusive Singaporean cooking classes that will consist of unique Singaporean dishes, like Singapore chicken rice, satay, compressed rice, and more.
"I'm really looking forward to this new challenge", says Then. "[These] cooking classes will allow me to share my culinary world with anyone in the world, and cook with some great people at the same time. How cool is that?"
Launched in 2015, The Chef & The Dish is a unique culinary business that virtually connects chefs from around the world with their students. No matter where you are in the world, a person has the ability to connect in real-time with chefs via Skype for private, live, one-on-one cooking classes in their own home kitchen. The website also offers classes from experts like Claire Tansey of Toronto (Canadian cooking), New Orleans chef Gason Nelson (Creole cooking) and chef Ana Lopez of Seville, Spain (Spanish cooking).
