With 2023 fast approaching, Calgarians in search of interesting ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve need not search any longer after Calcutta Cricket Club announced today that it will once again be ringing in the New Year by travelling back in time to the golden era of Indian rail travel.
Similar to years past, Calcutta’s New Year’s Eve service will feature a five-course menu comprised of dishes from different regions of India. In addition to being an excellent opportunity to venture back in time through food and drink, the dinner service will also include a travel advisor who will provide interesting details about each stop along the railroad.
Guests can also look forward to a welcome cocktail courtesy of Tanqueray 10, a live jazz trio performing throughout the evening, and a Champagne toast when the clock strikes midnight. Also like previous years, Calcutta is encouraging New Year’s Eve dinner guests to dress up in their best thematic attire.
Calcutta Cricket Club will be offering two New Year’s Eve seatings at 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets can now be purchased online at $130 per person. Also worth mentioning, Calcutta—along with other Thank You Hospitality concepts—is currently offering a gift card promotion where anyone who purchases a $100 gift card receives an additional $25.
